Between world transfer for Pals, cooperative cross-platform gameplay, and further joint content with Re-Logic’s Terraria, Pocketpair’s Palworld has great hopes for the future. The last scenario, known as the “World Tree,” is arguably the most fascinating part, though.
Community manager John Buckley told Eurogamer that it has been “mapped out for quite some time,” although he did not specify when it will be released. Since day one, the World Tree—the location of the “ending”—has been in view.
Palworld’s World Tree is the End?
Many gamers thought that their journey would end there and fans always asked Pocketpair about World tree, in response to this Pocketpair said soon it will be opening the area up for the gamers. Palworld world tree is not the End.
Naturally, this does not imply that Palworld will cease to exist (despite Nintendo’s lawsuit). “This particular journey will come to an end with the World Tree, but Palworld is far from over,” Buckley explains. Therefore, he is unable to “think of a better” phrase at this time, even though it isn’t really a “ending.”
“We might have announced the Terraria collaboration a bit prematurely, but everyone, including Re-Logic, was so excited that we thought it’d be fun to share early,” Buckley said when discussing other material. The Feybreak update included the first piece of DLC, Meowmere, a sword that shoots bullets.
Palworld is available in early access for PC, Xbox series and PS series. For PC users you can buy it from here.
In addition to quality of life enhancements like summoned Pals assaulting the closest opponent, requiring less Plasteel when forging weapons and gear, and more, the latest patch provided five Pals Spring Festival skins.
