A perceptive internet user recently noticed a really large Easter egg devoted to the Manhunt character Piggsy in the most recent batch of Grand Theft Auto 6 promotional materials. Though there are reasons to think otherwise, this revelation has stoked some fan conjecture over whether Rockstar is teasing the return of the legendary character in Grand Theft Auto 6.
There are plenty of terrible dangers in Manhunt, one of the most violent and contentious video games ever created. Piggsy, a chainsaw-wielding madman with a pig’s head who is insane enough to stand out even among Manhunt’s immensely packed villain gallery, is one of the characters that most exemplifies that reputation.
As far as Piggsy is concerned, it seems like Rockstar hasn’t forgotten about its gory horror game, even though Manhunt will celebrate its 23rd anniversary in November 2025. Recently, YouTuber GTAVIoclock brought attention to a drawing of Cal Hampton sitting on a boat that was included in the most recent set of GTA 6 images and artwork that was made public in early May. It seems to depict a Piggsy tattoo on Hampton’s right leg. It is impossible to determine for sure whether the tattoo accurately portrays the notorious figure because it is mostly hidden by the boat hull, even though it appears to cover a considerable portion of his shin and reach up to his knee.
GTA 6 Manhunt comeback
Regardless matter how it is presented, some Manhunt fans may be open to a Piggsy debut in Grand Theft Auto 6, according to the excitement generated by GTAVoclock’s observation. However, a tattoo by itself is not proof. Easter eggs, the majority of which have little to no canonical weight, have long been a tradition in Rockstar games. On the other hand, because the original Manhunt character was firmly established as a part of the Grand Theft Auto 3D world 20 years ago, it would be noteworthy to include any of them in GTA 6. To put it another way, Piggsy would technically be a separate character even if he appeared in GTA 6 in real life.
Is Piggsy from Manhunt in GTA 6?

Whether GTA 6 and its immediate predecessor, which also inherited its continuity from GTA 4, share the same world has not yet been formally clarified by Rockstar. However, it’s clearly evident that the 3D universe was abandoned a long time ago, thus it’s doubtful that a classic like Manhunt and Grand Theft Auto 6 would directly intersect.
Hampton may be GTA 6’s version of The Truth from San Andreas, a paranoid oddball with strange views that contribute to the game’s atmosphere and societal satire, according to what the developer has so far disclosed. A huge tattoo of a serial murderer is not only believable but also rather appropriate for someone who is so enormous. By the way, GTA 6 is going to release next year on May 26, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox X and S series.
