Accusations have been made against Electronic Arts and DICE, the publisher and developer of the Battlefield first-person shooter series, respectively, for allegedly utilizing actual images of the ongoing conflict in Gaza as artwork for their next Battlefield game.
Two Twitter users noticed the possible usage of a 2021 image of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict taken by Reuters, a global news agency, as originally reported by Insider Gaming. They specifically point to a black cloud of smoke that appears to have been replicated in the first concept picture for the game that IGN has released.

The original Reuters image might be seen on TheGamer’s website. The image, which is available here, looks like this:
Neither DICE nor EA have responded to the accusations as of this writing. If further information on the accusation becomes available. MyDeepTech will report it.
