The good news is that this evening, we finally received some type of announcement: GTA VI is still scheduled to debut in the Fall 2025 timeframe, which was formerly stated to be between September and November of this year.
That was about it. Fans may have been unreasonable in expecting a fresh video, images, or even a certain release date. Although fans are glad the game is still coming this year, the fact that Rockstar Games parent firm Take-Two Interactive is effectively restating what it has stated in previous financial reports after more than a year has not gone down well.
GTA 6 is probably going to rank among the most successful gaming releases in recent history. Since Grand Theft Auto 3 brought the franchise back to life, Rockstar Games has enjoyed a string of successful games, with each new GTA game becoming a huge seller for the business. GTA 6 has enormous expectations, which may be hard to achieve, but lately, people have been more worried about the game’s delay than anything else.
Take-Two Interactive has now reaffirmed that GTA 6 will still be released in 2025 during a quarterly conference call. Specifically, the business anticipates that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in the autumn. Should that prove to be the case, the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 would occur sometime between late August and December of 2025. Although a recent report that GTA 6 might premiere in September has been disproved, this would place it in line with several earlier rumors.
GTA VI release announcement? GTA 6 Get Delayed Again?
We don’t know if GTA VI will get delayed but anything can happen. The Take Two interactive seems confident that current GTA 6 will release in fall 2025.
The game is going to be a big thing for the business, and the purpose of its investment report is to reassure its shareholders about the financial outlook for the year. Hopefully, this release timeframe is reasonable and won’t involve a return to the so-called death march that the Red Dead Redemption 2 team underwent in order to finish the game on time, since Rockstar Games has previously turned back on its crunch mentality.
